Purple Friday: Merrylands RSL Club Stands United Against Domestic Violence

Merrylands RSL Club is proud to announce its participation in Purple Friday – Clubs Say No to Domestic Violence, a statewide initiative bringing together clubs across NSW to raise awareness and take action against domestic and family violence.

Purple Friday is part of a broader industry-led movement encouraging clubs, businesses and communities to stand together, spark meaningful conversations, and send a clear message: domestic and family violence is not acceptable in any community.

Merrylands RSL is committed to leading, educating, and supporting real change. Every Friday in May, we’ll speak up to raise awareness and show our dedication to creating a safer community💜.

💜Get Involved with us!

We encourage our members, guests and the wider community to support Purple Friday by:

🟣 Wearing purple on all Fridays in May to stand in solidarity.

🟣 Starting conversations that promote respect and awareness

🟣 Sharing information about support services

🟣 Standing together to say no to domestic and family violence

Together, we can create lasting change.
