A pop-up activation by Lifeline Macarthur and Western Sydney will be located opposite Reception, giving members and guests the opportunity to learn more about their services.

Representatives from BreastScreen NSW and Cancer Council NSW will be at Merrylands RSL to answer all your questions about the national cancer screening programs. Women age 40 and over who are interested in attending a breast screen can also book their appointments during this event.

People with breast, cervical, bowel and lung cancers detected through national cancer screening programs have better cancer survival outcomes than those diagnosed who had never been screened. Cancer screening can help detect cancers early, even before you have any symptoms of the disease.

Screening programs offer free tests that detect cancers in the early stages – this means people have more effective treatment options, and better outcomes.

The Anytime Fitness team will be offering quick fitness assessments, running an information stand, speaking with members about how Anytime Fitness supports healthy ageing, and providing complimentary 7-day trials for Merrylands RSL members.
