HOW TO GET A RECORD OF YOUR COVID-19 VACCINATION

NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian has announced that once 70% full vaccination has been achieved, a range of restrictions will be lifted for those who are vaccinated.

When clubs reopen, it is likely only vaccinated patrons can enter. Don’t delay and get vaccinated.

If you have received at least 1 dose, proof of your COVID-19 vaccination will be recorded on your immunisation history statement after you’ve had your vaccine. The government is working on updating the Service NSW App to allow for your vaccination record to be easily accessible through the app. In the meantime, there are other ways to get a record of your vaccination:
• your Medicare online account
• the Express Plus Medicare app
• the Australian Immunisation Register or;
• My Health Record

MEDICARE ONLINE ACCOUNT

1. Sign in to your myGov account (my.gov.au) and choose Medicare
2. From the Immunisation history section, click on View statement
3. Choose your name
4. Click on View history statement (PDF)

Want to add add your COVID-19 digital certificate to your Apple Wallet or Google Pay? After choosing your name (Step 3 above), click on View COVID-19 digital certificate and select either  Add to Apple Wallet or Save to phone for Google Pay.

EXPRESS PLUS MEDICARE APP

1. Open the app and sign in
2. From the Services section, choose Immunisation History
3. Choose your name
4. Click on View history statement (PDF)

Want to add add your COVID-19 digital certificate to your Apple Wallet or Google Pay? After choosing your name (Step 3 above), click on View COVID-19 digital certificate and select either  Add to Apple Wallet or Save to phone for Google Pay.

AUSTRALIAN IMMUNISATION REGISTER

Call the Australian Immunisation Register on 1800 653 809 between 8am–5pm, Monday to Friday.

Ask them to send your immunisation history statement to you. It can take up to 14 days to arrive by mail.

If you need an interpreter, please call the Telephone Interpreter Service (TIS) on 131 450.

MY HEALTH RECORD

If you don’t have a Medicare card, you can get your immunisation history statement from My Health Record.
1. Sign in to your myGov account
(my.gov.au) and choose My Health Record
2. Choose your name
3. From the Documents section choose, Immunisations

LOCKDOWN EXTENDED

In response to the evolving Delta outbreak, NSW has announced the extension of the current lockdown in Greater Sydney until the end of September. New rules now applies to local government areas of concern (including Cumberland) effective yesterday 23 August, including:

  • A curfew is in place from 9pm to 5am (except for work, emergencies or medical care)
  • Outdoor exercise is limited to one hour per day
  • Closure of certain stores except for click and collect (including stores that sell garden, office, hardware and building, landscaping, rural and pet supplies).

The NSW Government has recently announced that the current stay at home orders will remain in place for another four weeks (until Saturday, 28 August at 12.01am) across Greater Sydney including the Central Coast, Blue Mountains, Wollongong and Shellharbour.

In addition to this, the Parramatta, Campbelltown and Georges River LGAs will join the five existing LGAs of concern which are subject to an Authorised Workers Order. This means only authorised workers in these eight LGAs may leave their LGA for work. The five previously announced LGAs of concern are Canterbury-Bankstown, Fairfield, Liverpool, Blacktown and Cumberland.

Merrylands RSL Club will also remain temporarily closed during this period.
